Populism Populism is a political philosophy or an ideology which compare people against the elites and urges the political and social political systems. On the other hand some political scientists claim that populist movement is considered irrational which introduces instable political process in the country. These allege are not true as the modern populist movement is categorized into two main divisions. These are the political and the agrarian movements (Goodwyn 298). It is believed that populist movement can be the drivers of fascist movements. This has led to the conspiracist scapegoat that is employed by popular movements which can create a fascism seedbed. It is also believed that the national socialist populism held a meeting which facilitated fascism in the Germany interwar. During this time it is also believed that the distressed middle class people in the populist movement during the Nazi regime mobilized their issues and their anger was directed to the big business and the government. Furthermore, the Nazis took the forms and themes of the populism movement and parasitized it. The Nazis later moved their constituencies to the right in the ideological appeals which involved scapegoat, conspiracy and demagogue.
